Han Dinh, MA, PLPC, NCC
Hello, I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), who earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Holy Cross. I am also a National Certified Counselor. My current population that I am working with has been adolescents, individuals, couples, marriage, and family. The main issues that I have work with range from: depression, anxiety, meaning in life, mistrust, financial budgeting, addiction, grief, and trauma
I believe that in life there is always something, usually hard, to share with those around you. The issues being faced might be a little tough to share with your loved ones. Maybe it is hard to communicate without being misunderstood. Life’s difficulties are heightened by the needs and wants of everyday life. Taking your first step in contacting a counselor is usually the most challenging. I hope to help you reach your goal. If you are willing to steer the wheel, I will be your companion on your journey towards healing and/or personal growth.
Overall, my main approach is person-centered and solution focused. However, I am also eclectic in my approach, depending on my client’s situation and goals for counseling. It is my goal to help my clients’ reach their therapeutic goal(s). Clients and I explore unhealthy attachments that could potentially hinder these goals. We work through the emerging past issues, current relationship misunderstandings, life’s confusion, and work to create a plan in order to reach those goals.
